The patron saint of Montalto Dora is Saint Eusebius, celebrated on the first Sunday of August.
Every year, on the last Sunday of November, the savoy cabbage festival is held, an event that draws tourists from many areas of northern Italy and celebrates the area's best-known agricultural product. In February, the Montalto Carnival is held, featuring the Castellana as its protagonist, followed by a parade of historical figures and allegorical floats; in May, the conscripts are celebrated instead: on the night of the last day of April, on the mountain overlooking the town, the maypole is raised, and in the following days the conscripts celebrate for three days, involving the population of Montalto and neighbouring towns. The town also holds the Castello di Montalto and the Lakes of Ivrea.
