The patron saint of Banchette is Saint James, celebrated on 25 July.
Carnival is the event most loved by the people of Banchette, who take part in all its initiatives: it consists of various ceremonies, including the night-time parade with the typical Cossatera and Cossatè characters, masks and allegorical floats, and ends with the burning of the Cossa amid songs and dances. The municipal territory also holds the Castello di Banchette and the church of the Madonna della Tenerezza, as well as the Parish Church of San Cristoforo.
