The patroness of Tavagnasco is Saint Margaret (Santa Margherita), celebrated on 13 July; the municipality holds the Chiesa di Santa Margherita.
Since 1990 the «Tavagnasco Rock Festival» has been held every spring, an open-air music series of Italian and foreign rock groups that has become, over time, an important and much-followed musical event on the Italian scene.
