The little church of San Sebastiano may be ninth-century, the first parish church, when the village stood around it. The fifteenth century gave it its present shape, Romanesque turning Gothic: a crown of hanging pointed arches runs along front and apse, and the plaster still shows the outline of the pointed doorway a plainer one replaced.
Of the parish church of San Martino, from the eleventh century, the Romanesque bell tower survives, 56 metres high, which marks the town from far off. On the Roggia Camera the mill of San Giovanni went up as soon as the canal was dug, in 1465; it ground cereals, and by 1699 the water was already husking rice.
