The patron of Carosino is Saint Blaise: the liturgical feast falls on 3 February, with the blessing of the throat with crossed candles and a procession with the saint's statue, but the true patronal feast takes place on the second Sunday of October.
The town, famous for its wine, has hosted the Sagra del Vino since the early 1960s, held every year in August, just before the grape harvest, in Piazza Vittorio Emanuele III, in front of the Palazzo Ducale D'Ayala Valva.
