The patroness of Gadoni is the Beata Vergine Assunta (Blessed Virgin of the Assumption), celebrated on 15 August; the municipality holds the church of Maria Vergine Assunta.
The custom, which has never changed since time immemorial, is to adorn the windowsills or balconies during the Corpus Domini processions or on the most important religious occasions. At Gadoni, on the night between the first and the second of November, the rite of «is fraccheras» was celebrated.
