The patron saint of Alì Terme is Saint Roch, solemnly celebrated on 16 August with a procession. The cult of the saint has a particular origin: it began with the discovery of his statue in a box on the town's beach. The current mother church, which replaced an older building still standing today, was built and inaugurated in 1956, and preserves both the ancient statue of the saint and the one made in the 20th century.
The town also houses the sanctuary of Maria Ausiliatrice, within the institute of the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians, which holds the mortal remains of Mother Maddalena Morano, beatified by Pope John Paul II in 1994 and celebrated on 24 May. Other small chapels once stood in the area, now vanished due to raids, earthquakes and wars, including those of Santa Lucia, Santa Maria della Lettera and Santa Maria dell'Idria, near the town's medieval tower.
