The patron saint of Galati Mamertino is Saint James, whose liturgical feast falls on 25 July, but whose main celebration is held from 23 to 26 August as part of the Feast of the Three Saints, one of the town's most important observances: the three churches involved, located in different districts of the historic centre, each host their own saint, Saint James, the Most Holy Crucifix and Saint Roch, and the celebrations are marked by the various processions that always draw a great gathering of the faithful.
The town also preserves a private church dedicated to Our Lady of the Rosary, celebrated in the first ten days of October, as well as the Palazzo De Spuches, also called the Prince's Palace, the church of Maria Santissima Assunta, and the sanctuary of the Madonna di Trofillo.
