Approaching San Piero Patti after a 50-kilometre drive southwest from Messina, visitors reach a Sicilian town belonging to the Tindari-Nebrodi Consortium. Known officially as San Pietro sopra Patti until 1912, the municipality has a population of 3,082.
Located 140 kilometres east of Palermo in the Metropolitan City of Messina, it borders Patti, Librizzi, Raccuja, Sant'Angelo di Brolo, and Montalbano Elicona.
