Casteldaccia

Province: Palermo · Region: Sicily · Population: 10,884 · Postal code: 90014

Generations of Italians have poured Casteldaccia's most famous export at their dinner tables: the town is the historic home of the Vini Corvo wine label, alongside the Tomasello pasta factory. Established by Marquis Longarini and known during the 18th century as Villa di Castellazzo, the settlement eventually evolved into a notable industrial fixture on the Tyrrhenian coast.

Located just 18 kilometers from Palermo, the town is currently home to 10,884 residents. While not a conventional tourist resort, picking up a locally produced bottle of wine makes for a highly practical souvenir before continuing your drive along the northern Sicilian shoreline.
