The patron saint of Valledolmo is Saint Anthony of Padua, celebrated on 18 August under the patronage of the town council, with religious events.
The saint is celebrated on this symbolic date because in the past, for administrative reasons and more favourable temperatures, the feast was moved several times, until the final decision for 18 August, which then remained so by tradition. The town is known for a great number of traditional feasts and rites, both sacred and secular. The town also holds the Church of Maria Santissima della Purità and the Church of the Anime Sante.
