Saint Felix of Massa Martana, patron of the town of the flower carpets and Pinturicchio
📅 Every year, on 18 May
Spello celebrates Saint Felix of Massa Martana on 18 May; the town, once «Splendidissima Colonia Julia» at the will of Caesar and Augustus, is today famous for the Corpus Domini flower carpets and for Pinturicchio's frescoes in the Collegiate Church of Santa Maria Maggiore.
