Saint Columba, patroness of a parish with a church perhaps of Merovingian origin
📅 Every year, on 31 December
Charvensod celebrates Saint Columba on 31 December; the parish church dedicated to her, called Sainte-Colombe, is probably of Merovingian date, and the two doves on the town's coat of arms allude precisely to her and to the collegiate church of Sant'Orso in Aosta.
