Saint George, patron of a parish that depended for centuries on the Great Saint Bernard
📅 Every year, on 23 April
Pollein celebrates Saint George on 23 April; from the 12th to the 18th century, its parish depended on the provostry of Mont-Joux, the Great Saint Bernard, whose azure and silver colours still appear in the coat of arms linked to this ancient jurisdiction.
