The patron saint of Maniago is Saint Maurus of Parenzo, celebrated on 21 November in the Church of San Mauro.
The town, known for centuries for its cutlery-making tradition, also holds the Castle of Maniago and the Museum of Blacksmithing Art and Cutlery, and hosts events throughout the year such as the Fiera di San Giacomo and Coltello in Festa, linked precisely to this ancient craft.
