Saint Stephen, patron of a town that lives on flower festivals and floriculture

The patron saint of Santo Stefano al Mare is Saint Stephen, celebrated on 3 August. Every year, usually in the month of May, the infiorata is held, a typical town festival tied to fine floriculture, an activity that sustains many of the town's inhabitants.

Santo Stefano al Mare also preserves historical traces in the Torrione, the oratory of the Santo Cristo and the Torre degli Aregai, as well as the Museo del Relitto Romano, documenting an ancient shipwreck in the waters facing the town.
