The patron saint of Soldano is Saint John the Baptist, celebrated on 24 June, with the church dedicated to him at the heart of the town. In 1944 Soldano was occupied by Nazi troops, who set many houses ablaze; on 9 July of that year the town counted two civilian victims, the baker at work in the oven for the population who had fled to the countryside shelters, and a young man of twenty.
The town also preserves the church of the Madonna del Carmine and that of San Mauro; the community once also celebrated Saint Louis, of whose confraternity it was prior.
