The patron saint of Rialto is Saint Peter, celebrated on 29 June. The parish church dedicated to him, in the main village, has an origin that, according to some findings, dates to the Romanesque style, although its first official mention is from 1356; the structure was rebuilt over the course of the 14th century and holds inside a fine late-Gothic statue.
In the locality of Vene stands the parish church of San Lorenzo. The municipal territory lies within the wooded area between Monte Carmo di Loano and Monte Settepani, where there are forests, grasslands, rocky slopes, cavities of speleological interest and karst formations, as well as the Borbottina regional forest; among the plant species recorded are rhododendron, dwarf juniper, the Savona bellflower and gentian.
