The patron of Genivolta is Saint Lawrence (san Lorenzo), celebrated on 10 August; the municipality holds the Chiesa di San Lorenzo Martire.
On the occasion of the Sagra d'Autunno (autumn festival), held on the fourth Sunday of October, the painting competition «Comune di Genivolta» is organised: having passed its thirtieth edition in 2015, every year the competition hosts about a hundred works in different styles and techniques. The municipality also holds the Cappella dei Morti di San Lorenzo and the Parco Oglio Nord.
