The patroness of Cassinelle is Saint Margaret (Santa Margherita), celebrated on 20 July; the former church of Santa Margherita now houses the Museo del Territorio.
The town's calendar includes the «Canto delle Uova» (egg song), on the Friday or Saturday before Palm Sunday; the Procession of Saint John the Baptist, in the second half of June; the Sagra del fungo porcino (porcini mushroom festival), on the first Saturday of September; and the Feast of San Defendente, in early October. The municipality also holds the Chiesa di San Defendente and the Oratorio di San Giovanni Battista.
