The patron of Albugnano is the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, celebrated on 8 September.
On the second Sunday of June the feast of Sant'Antonio da Padova is celebrated, to mark the end, through the saint's intercession, of a cattle epidemic in the 17th century: a procession leaves the parish church and, behind a cart drawn by oxen, heads for the Cappella di Sant'Antonio, about a kilometre from the village. The municipality also holds the Canonica Regolare di Santa Maria di Vezzolano, the Chiesa di Sant'Emiliano Vescovo and the Chiesa di Santo Stefano.
