The patron saint of Moncalvo is Saint Antoninus, celebrated with the patronal feast on the third Sunday of May.
The town of Moncalvo takes part in the Palio di Asti, a feast rooted in the Middle Ages. In October, the Medieval Festival is held, and in the last two Sundays of the month, the Truffle Fair; the second non-holiday Wednesday of December brings the Fat Ox Fair, while the third Sunday of June sees the Monferrato Cuisine Festival. The town also holds the Church of San Francesco d'Assisi and the Civic Museum of Moncalvo.
