The patron saint of Guarene is Saint James, celebrated on 25 July.
The municipal territory holds the Castello di Guarene and the Roero Civic Art Gallery, as well as the Sanctuary of the Madonna delle Grazie. The town also holds the church of the Santissima Annunziata.
