The patron saint of Moretta is Saint John the Baptist, celebrated on 24 June in the Church of San Giovanni Battista: during the procession, the statue of the patron saint is carried through the town's main streets, decorated by the residents.
A tradition that has not been lost, unlike the rural festivals of the various hamlets and the confraternities, is the Festa dei Coscritti, celebrating the coming of age, held every year in the first week of September. In May 2024, Moretta was granted the title of city. The municipal territory also holds the Sanctuary of the Beata Maria Vergine del Pilone and the Castello di Moretta.
