Bibiana celebrates the martyr Saint Vivian on 2 December.
For a hundred and thirty years the town had its own station: from 1882 to 2012 it was served by the railway climbing from Pinerolo to Torre Pellice. Now you can only get here by road.
Bibiana sits at the mouth of the Val Pellice, and the name barely changes from one language to the next: Bibian-a in Piedmontese, Bibiana in Occitan, Bibiane in French. It borders Bricherasio, Luserna San Giovanni, Cavour and Bagnolo Piemonte: here the plain ends and the valleys begin.
