The patron of Cuorgnè is Saint Aloysius, celebrated on 21 June.
The event the town feels most, though, is the May Tournament at the Court of King Arduin, born in 1987 from an idea of Andrea Peretti, then president of the Pro Loco: period music, parades in costume, an equestrian tournament and festivities late into the night, with the old quarters competing to be named the winner. It re-enacts the story of Arduin, margrave of Ivrea, crowned King of Italy in 1002 and who, tradition says, passed through the village of Corgnate, the old name of Cuorgnè.
