On the front of the chapel of Sant'Anna there is a triptych of frescoes, and in the middle the Shroud is painted, held up by two angels. Another chapel, San Rocco, is late sixteenth-century and stands in the wood just outside the village.

The parish church of San Desiderio was built after 1675 and remade in the later eighteenth century by the theologian Pietro Francesco Venera; a violent storm brought its front down in 1791 and it had to be rebuilt. The comune lies in three bands: mountain to the north, inhabited plain in the middle, and a strip of the Mandria park to the south-east.
