The patron of Salza di Pinerolo is the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, celebrated on 8 September; the village holds the Chiesa della Natività di Maria Vergine.
The village calendar also includes the Festa dei Roudoun, a cowbell festival dedicated to the shepherds of the valley, and Salza Music, a summer music festival. Among the places of the municipality are the Val Troncea with its natural park, Monte Peolioso and the Ecomuseo delle Miniere e della Val Germanasca.
