Feast of Saint Martin
📅 Every year, on 11 November
On 11 November Costanzana celebrates its patron Saint Martin, to whom the parish church is dedicated.
Costanzana is flat country: from 138 metres in the south-western corner the ground falls to 118 metres at the opposite corner, towards Rive. Water counts for more than relief. The Marcova crosses it from west to east, the Roggia Stura marks part of the boundary with Trino, and to the north the rio Sanguinolento runs down into the Marcova.
Nearly everyone lives in the centre; outside it lie farmsteads and two old farming hamlets, Saletta and Torrione, both south of the village. At Saletta the church of San Bartolomeo shows a four-column portico under its pediment, while flank and bell tower stay in bare brick, the grass grown almost to the steps.
