The patron of Villata is the apostle Saint Barnabas: the patronal feast is celebrated on the last Sunday of August, although the saint is remembered by the liturgy on 11 June; the Chiesa parrocchiale di San Barnaba is dedicated to him.
The municipality also holds the Oratorio dei Santi Francesco d'Assisi e Bernardino and the church known as Gesiolo, as well as the Asinetto, Lancaccio and Ranamarcia fountains.
