The patron saint of Adelfia is the martyr Saint Tryphon, patron of Montrone: tradition holds that he protected the town during the 1691 plague epidemic and drove away an invasion. His feast, the most important in the town, culminates on 10 November.
On the evening of 9 November, the saint's painting is carried in procession to the square of Montrone, accompanied by the launch of a hot-air balloon, and the evening continues with concerts late into the night. On 10 November, the procession closes with the symbolic handover of the town's keys by the mayor, near the clock arch of Montrone; on the afternoon of 11 November, a fireworks competition lasting around three hours is held. The town also holds the Norman Tower of Adelfia and the Mother Church of the Immaculate Conception.
