Partinico celebrates Saint Leonard of Noblac on 6 November; on the evening of the feast, until 1819, his church was where the price ceiling on foodstuffs was set, while the most heartfelt devotion remains that for the Madonna del Ponte.

The patron saint of Partinico is Saint Leonard of Noblac, celebrated on 6 November. The church dedicated to him, built in 1634 by the Company of the Holy Sacrament, was for a long time tied to the civic life of the town: until 1819 the civic council met there, and on the evening of the patronal feast the food-supply commission would set the price ceiling on foodstuffs, locally known as the «meta». The bell tower ends in a pyramidal top covered on all four sides with 18th-century majolica tiles depicting saints.

Partinico's main traditional religious feast, however, is that of the Madonna del Ponte, celebrated the week after Easter: the cult, documented since at least the 16th century and linked to the presence of Cistercian monks from the abbey of Santa Maria di Altofonte, centres on the sanctuary of the same name outside the town. In 1861, at the community's request in memory of the end of the 1854 cholera epidemic, the image of the Madonna was solemnly crowned; the painting venerated today is the work of Vincenzo Manno, from 1819.
