The patron saint of Torretta is Saint Calogerus, celebrated on 18 June.
Born in Chalcedon in 466 and died on Monte Kronio on 18 June 561, Calogerus was a hermit monk, venerated as a wonder-working saint by both the Catholic and Orthodox churches: he is the patron of Naro and co-patron of Agrigento, where he is venerated more than Saint Gerlando, and is particularly venerated in many other Sicilian towns, including Aragona, Caltavuturo, Cammarata, Canicattì, Casteltermini, Cattolica Eraclea, Favara, Mussomeli, Sciacca and Torretta itself.
