Saint Nicholas of Myra, patron of the parish of the canon who invented the Tractor Feast
📅 Every year, on 6 December
Montecastrilli celebrates Saint Nicholas of Myra on 6 December; his parish church was the seat of Monsignor Antonio Serafini, the canon who in 1956 conceived and championed the first edition of the Tractor Feast, which over time became a genuine local extravaganza.
