Montecastrilli celebrates Saint Nicholas of Myra on 6 December; his parish church was the seat of Monsignor Antonio Serafini, the canon who in 1956 conceived and championed the first edition of the Tractor Feast, which over time became a genuine local extravaganza.

The patron saint of Montecastrilli is Saint Nicholas of Myra, celebrated on 6 December. The first edition of the Tractor Feast dates from 1956, a genuine extravaganza conceived and championed by Monsignor Antonio Serafini, canon of the parish church of San Nicolò in Montecastrilli: within ten years, what was born as a local initiative grew to become a significant event for the town.

Also very popular is the «Montecastrilli sotto le stelle» feast, held from 11 to 23 August, during which duck-based specialities can be tasted. The town also preserves the parish church of Santa Maria in Quadrelli and those of San Lorenzo in Nifili and Santa Maria di Ciciliano, as well as a permanent exhibition of farming tools and implements.
