The patron of Girifalco is Saint Roch, celebrated from 14 to 24 August, at the Church of San Rocco on Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II.
On Easter Sunday, the Cumprunta or Cunfrunta is held, on Corso Roma; on Ash Wednesday's eve, instead, the Azata takes place, at the same Church of San Rocco. On the first Sunday of October, Our Lady of the Rosary is celebrated, and on 15 September, Our Lady of Sorrows. The town also holds the Palazzo Ducale and the Mother Church of Santa Maria delle Nevi.
