The patroness of Proceno is Saint Agnes Segni, that is Agnes of Montepulciano, celebrated on 20 April.
On 5 August, the day dedicated to Our Lady of the Snows, a great festival was celebrated, sanctioned in 1519 by a Brief of Pope Leo X, with a fair of goods and livestock that until the mid-nineteenth century was one of the most important in the Tuscia; in this town of 605 inhabitants the red garlic of Proceno is grown, and among the sweets is the biscotto di Sant'Antonio, a sweet braided bread.
