Saint Roch and Mary Help of Christians, patrons of an ancient church with a pagan altar
📅 Every year, on 24 May and 16 August
Vallecrosia celebrates Mary Help of Christians on 24 May and Saint Roch on 16 August; the old church of San Rocco, perhaps dating from the 10th or 11th century, holds an 18th-century fresco and, curiously, also an altar dedicated to the god Apollo.
