Saint Anthony the Abbot, patron of a church that received a painting from Van Dyck
📅 Every year, on 17 January
Vasia celebrates Saint Anthony the Abbot on 17 January, in the church with the tallest bell tower in the valley; in the summer of 1624 Anthony van Dyck painted the Holy Family for this church and donated it, a work now attributed to his collaborator Jan Roos.
