The patron of Sambuco is San Giuliano, celebrated on 28 August; the municipality holds the Cappella di San Giuliano and the church of San Giuliano e San Sebastiano.
The Sambuco lamb has been recognised as a Slow Food Presidium and Traditional Product. The municipality also holds the Campanile San Bartolomeo, the Chiesa di San Michele, the Cappella di Moriglione and the alpine museum 'Sambuco in miniatura'.
