The patrons of Villanova Solaro are the Madonna della Noce, celebrated on 15 September in the sanctuary dedicated to her, and Saint John the Baptist, patron of the hamlet of Vernetto.
Each has a church of their own in the municipality: the Sanctuary of the Madonna della Noce and the Chapel of Saint John the Baptist.
