The patron saint of Carmagnola is Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception, celebrated on 8 December.
The town's best-known event is the National Fair of the Carmagnola Pepper, traditionally held between late August and early September and dedicated to promoting the vegetable of the same name: originally called the Pepper Festival, it gained the status of national fair starting from the 2017 edition. In March, the town also holds the Spring Fair, linked to the farming and livestock sector and featuring the provincial exhibition of Piedmontese cattle. Among the town's places of worship are the church of Sant'Agostino and that of the Holy Trinity and Saint Philip Neri.
