The patrons of Villafranca Piemonte are the Guardian Angels, celebrated on the Sunday preceding the last Tuesday of September.
The municipal territory holds the Castello di Marchierù and the Church of Santi Maria Maddalena e Stefano, as well as the Confluence of the Pellice nature reserve. The town also holds the church of the Madonna degli Orti.
