In San Germano Vercellese and in other towns of the province, such as Lignana, Pertengo and Sillavengo, the French bishop Germanus of Auxerre (Germano d'Auxerre) is the patron, with the feast fixed on 31 July; the municipality holds the Chiesa di San Germano.
Every 13 December the fair of Santa Lucia takes place, a chance to display various goods and local products. The municipality also holds the Chiesa del Corpus Domini, the Chiesa di San Vito and the Chiesa di San Giovanni Battista.
