The patron of Nulvi is the Assumption of Mary, celebrated on 15 August.
On the eve, 14 August, the town holds the Essida de sos Candhaleris (the Candlesticks' Outing): a procession of votive structures carried on the shoulders, similar to those of Sassari, Iglesias and Ploaghe. The town also holds the Church of Santa Tecla, the Church of Nostra Signora di Monte Alma, the Church of Santa Croce and the Church of San Giovanni Battista.
