Santa Elisabetta celebrates Saint Stephen on 6 January, with the pastoral Epiphany of Nardu, a re-enactment of shepherd life accompanied by a ricotta cheese festival; nearby Monte Guastanella once held a Byzantine fortress.

The patron saint of Santa Elisabetta is Saint Stephen, celebrated on 6 January in the church dedicated to him, erected in the second half of the 18th century: inside it preserves a pulpit-confessional bearing the coat of arms of the Montaperto family. The patronal feast coincides with the pastoral Epiphany of Nardu, which re-enacts the life of shepherds through the character of the «buffoon» Nardu, in a performance that ends with the announcement of the birth of Jesus and is accompanied by a ricotta cheese festival, featuring local dairy specialities.

The area also preserves the remains of the Byzantine fortress of Monte Guastanella, between Raffadali and Santa Elisabetta, with silos carved into the rock and ancient caves: according to one theory linked to classical tradition, the site may have been the burial place of the legendary King Minos. The town also venerates the Holy Crucifix, celebrated on the first Sunday of August.
