The patron saint of Gualtieri Sicaminò is Saint Nicholas of Bari, whose liturgical date falls on 6 December, but whose patronal feast is held on the last Sunday of August, with a renowned interregional fireworks display that draws visitors from outside the province.
In the small hamlet of Soccorso, instead, the solemn celebrations in honour of the Madonna del Perpetuo Soccorso are held every 22 August. The third week of August is also enlivened by the traditional Sagra dell'Arancia. The town preserves several historic churches, including those of the Assumption, San Nicolò and San Cataldo, as well as the museum of farming activities and the striking Cataolo waterfalls.
