Approaching Isnello, situated 70 kilometres southeast of Palermo, travelers reach a small Sicilian municipality of nearly 1,600 residents. The town shares its borders with neighboring areas such as Cefalù, Castelbuono, and Collesano.
Its most famous native son is Vincent R. Impellitteri, born here in 1900 before going on to serve as mayor of New York City. Isnello also adjoins the territories of Gratteri, Scillato, Polizzi Generosa, and Petralia Sottana.
