Illasi celebrates Saint Bartholomew on 24 August. On the second Sunday of May, a procession climbs from the town to the hill, in memory of the vow of thanks made after the 1837 cholera epidemic.

The patron of Illasi is Saint Bartholomew, celebrated on 24 August.

Since 1837, when a cholera epidemic spared the town, the vow of thanks made by its inhabitants at the time has been honoured every year: on the second Sunday of May, a procession climbs from the town up to the hill. The town also holds the Scaligero Castle and the Shrine of the Madonna di San Colombano.
