The patron saint of Cesa is Saint Cesarius of Terracina, celebrated in the Church of San Cesario in the week following 19 June, the anniversary of the translation of his relics.
The celebrations begin on the preceding Sunday, when the clergy, the organising committee, civil and military authorities and the townspeople process to collect the saint's silver reliquary bust. On Saturday and Sunday, the main days of the feast, the statue is carried on shoulders in procession through all the town's streets, decorated with elaborate lights; the celebrations close with the Flight of the Angels ritual. The town also holds the Church of the Madonna dell'Olio.
